Why did you decide to join the #BHHSummit about Solving Real Challenges in Healthcare?

After the COVID pandemic, it was clear that we needed to look for new methods to contribute to a more sustainable Healthcare system, and this meant including new technologies. The healthcare industry wants to be a partner in this pathway and this forum is the best place to find fresh ideas interacting with new relevant players, as all the start-up ecosystem.

How does your company solve those real challenges in healthcare? What solutions do you propose?

Challenges often present opportunities to do things differently. We consider that it’s needed to integrate external innovation in our daily work and transform these new technologies in innovative solutions that improve patient’s life and make the healthcare system more sustainable. Because of this, we have defined a strategic approach and vision to work with the external innovation ecosystem and Healthcare authorities.

Moreover, to be closer to understanding our patients needs, technological companies needs and other key partners in the industries needs. If we partner with other key players and listen to each others challenges we can maximize the solutions found.

How does digital health factor into your solutions?

Digital is a key trend, and digital health is one of the these too. Digital health opens an opportunity to offer easy, accessible, patient experience oriented solutions which makes their daily life better, by helping these access their medical information, contact their health care professionals easily or follow up on their treatment adherence. We believe that our solutions for patients should go beyond the pill, including digital health as a must.  However, Spain’s regulatory framework is a current challenge in terms of digital health (prescription and reimbursement of some of these solutions is not straightforward), therefore the more we push together into this direction the best solutions we can offer and introduce into the healthcare system.

What are you excited about the #BHHSummit?

For us it’s our first participation, we are excited to meet all these talented and passionate people that are creating a new paradigm in the way that we take care of the patients. Sure that this meeting creates an opportunity for dialogue and better understanding of the challenges that we face and push the next steps to solve them.
